Tom Clark

Tom's passion is in designing healthcare facilities that improve operational efficiency while creating an inspiring patient experience. His ability to combine strategic and human needs into a cohesive whole makes him particularly appropriate for any healthcare project. Tom has led CKA’s original research in lean inpatient facilities, including a grant to study 14 inpatient units for decentralization concepts. Tom is currently leading research comparing post-occupancy evaluations of seven primary care clinics, to identify design interventions which create staff efficiencies. Tom is a patient advocate, and each of CKA’s projects is an opportunity to create not just higher patient satisfaction, but inspiring environments to patients and families for healing.
